About my practice

Individual – or one-to-one – therapy provides a confidential space to discuss the concerns that you are facing and how these are impacting on you. You may wish to discuss a particular problem or symptom, be feeling trapped in repetitive and unhelpful patterns, or you may be struggling in relationships, or looking for more meaningful and satisfying ways of living.

As an integrative psychotherapist, my approach draws on a range of therapeutic ideas and practices, including relational psychoanalytic and existential thinking. In practice this means that I do not offer a one-size-fits-all approach and that I appreciate different clients need different things from therapy. The way I work is to listen closely to your concerns, and support you to find new ways of understanding the issues you are experiencing, to make better and more informed choices for yourself and within your relationships.

Initial consultation

I provide an initial meeting to discuss the concerns and problems that you are facing, how these are impacting on you, your needs or wishes for the therapy, and how we might work together. This initial meeting is an opportunity for you to decide whether therapy might be helpful to you at this time.

During the first meeting we will also discuss the contract and practicalities.

Next sessions

If you decide to continue, regular sessions take place at the same time each week for 50 minutes.

I offer short-term, long-term and open-ended therapy.

Location

I offer in-person therapy sessions in Shoreditch (by appointment only).
